Fluorescent ballasts from Universal/Triad are used the world over and are trusted by a vast number of professional electricians. Virtually any type of configuration you have in your fixture can be run by a Universal ballast. With literally hundreds and hundreds of models to choose from, there is sure to be one or more that would work perfectly for you.
Previously known as Magnetek, Universal makes sure you are able to easily install your new ballast without a big mess and without having to hiring an electrician. A diagram is shown on each one, specifically displaying what wires should be connected, and where.
Ballast kits are available for Metal Halide and Mercury Vapor fixtures. They include the capacitors, wiring, and all components necessary to ignite the light bulb they are designed for. You can order them to work as a 1 bulb ballast or a 2 bulb ballast--the choice is yours. If you require a pulse start feature, Universal/Magnetek can fulfill your needs as well. Some proprietary parts are available from Advance Ballast, Venture, and Robertson, to ensure we offer a full line of products to meet every need.
