Daylight flood light bulbs will really improve the quality of light over your standard flood bulbs. The color of the light is an attractive balance between the seemingly dark feeling of standard floods and the mostly white color of the cool white fluorescent floods. The light emitted from these products is made to appear similar to the color of the sun itself. Even though the bulb has a bluish tint when unlit, they actually do not produce a blue colored light. They would work very nicely in a lower level family room or bedroom, working to seemingly brighten up the room as though it had more natual light that it really does.
