More Information on Full Spectrum Daylight Incandescent Light Bulbs:
Full Spectrum lighting is best for recreating the color and quality of sunlight using an artificial light source. Often times, the glass itself looks blue, giving you the impression that the color of the light is blue. The actual color of the light is similar to the light from the noontime sun.

You can use these bulbs anywhere, and they are especially effective in darker areas (such as basements, etc.) since they tend to be gloomy places that really can benefit from the brighter, whiter light of the full spectrum daylight light bulb.

One of the materials used in making bulbs like these is called Neodymium. It's widely used by Westinghouse floods and A-line full spectrum bulbs. It helps to filter out the orange light rays and allow the lighter, brighter rays through.
