T6 slimline bulbs have a single pin base on each end of the bulb, and are three-fourths of an inch in diameter. They use an instant start ballast and are used only in special lighting applications. One example of this might be a meat or dairy case in your local grocery store. These bulbs are specialized and cannot be interchanged with typical fluorescent general lighting applications.
