For those of you who like the pleasing slightly pink color in a bulb, we have a
couple of choices for you.ᅠ These bulbs are similar to soft white, but the
slight pink color gives off a warmer color which makes the light more inviting.ᅠᅠ
In addition, it
makes a wonderful contrast to almost any kind of task you may be doing under
this light.ᅠ For most people, the slight pink color is what they choose as an
ambient light.ᅠ Now that
you may have warmer color bulb, what do you do when you want variations of illumination levels in the lamps you
use in your home or office?ᅠ That's where these lamps are most commonly
used.ᅠ People have wanted a low light output and at otherᅠ times they
want all the light they can get and sometimes having table lamps on a dimmer is
not possible.ᅠᅠ These are the A21 standard size bulbs which you might be familiar with,
the ones you've probably bought for years in hardware stores except these have
variable wattages in one bulb.ᅠ These 3-way soft pink bulbs are usually the
most common solution when you need this kind of lighting.ᅠ It has a
standard medium base and screws into sockets that are made for all kinds of
lighting.ᅠ
The only real available wattage configuration is the 50/100/150 soft pink.ᅠ These are numbers that pertain to the
various watts for each setting.ᅠ These are the probably the two most common
3-way lights and we keep these in stock always.ᅠ Along with the soft pink,
there are also other colors which include full spectrum, soft white and GE Enrich.ᅠ
We even have them in a double life version that Sylvania makes and that works
well for people who are not satisfied with the life they get from these lamps.ᅠ
There is also a higher wattage 3-way soft white which is the 50/250 and that is
one that many older people prefer as a reading light.ᅠ The light output is
far greater than anything else you can get right now, the high end is 250 watts.
Lately, people have been concerned about the kind of like that they're working
under or living under.ᅠ That's why so many people are turning to what is
called full spectrum lighting.
The term full spectrum is most often used when referring to fluorescents that
simulate natural outdoor light.ᅠ But the
3-way light bulbs are also available in this full spectrum version and can give
you the great light color that people identify as whiter and more like outdoor
daylight. It's an incandescent with special
coatings that has the warmer tones filtered out. However, the term full spectrum
is primarily used when referring to those lamps that fall into the white to
blue/white color temperature range.ᅠ The good news is that now you have a
choice in colors whether it be this daylight color or white or the warmer
colored 3-way soft pink light bulbs.
