Daylight light bulbs are all the rage to get a more natural color in the small R30 flood bulbs they use.  Now, there are medium sized R30 lamps which meet the needs of recessed light fixtures which could use some whiter light.  The R30 incandescent is considered a wide flood and has been used for decades in any number of recessed and track light fixtures including small eyeball fixtures which have a swiveling can.  Many people have used them because they are so low priced, but it makes sense to use the Daylight version instead.  They will give you a whiter light because the Westinghouse Realite coating filters out most of the offensive yellow color that most people don't like.  In a store, it will help bring out true colors of your products like no other kind of incandescent bulbs today on the market.  Making life and products more colorful while getting the right amount of illumination is a winning combination.  Most people prefer having a more colorful environment, and there's nothing like natural daylight that brings out true color.

The 75R30 is a higher light output than the energy saving 65BR30 versions and they are a direct replacement for the 75 watt flood lights you have now.   We have the Westinghouse Realite 75R30 which is the daylight version made by them.  Simply screw them into any place where you have the standard BR30 or old 75R30 and you will see the difference that natural lighting can make in your home or office.  And speaking of the office, you might want to consider using 5000K fluorescents to brighten up your office.  You can get fluorescent tubes in almost any color you want including the more desirable natural light.  The daylight has special phosphors that give it a similar color to daylight or natural sunshine.  One of the best brands for this is the Panasonic T10 5000K or F40T10/5000K.  It gives out more light than a standard 40 watt fluorescent and it produces light the way our eyes naturally use it, giving better visual acuity and reducing problems like eyestrain.

In the home, you'll like using the 75R30 full spectrum flood light bulbs in places like your kitchen and bathroom.  The reason they're especially good in areas like kitchens and bathrooms is because of the white surfaces they usually have.  This makes those surfaces and areas appear whiter, giving a cleaner, white look.  Of course, they can be an excellent choice for a baby or child's room as it make colors really jump out and kids react to that in their developmental stages.  If you have any of the areas described here, please buy some of these bulbs for your home, you'll be glad you did.

Remember that there are many types of full spectrum flood bulbs, we describe the very common 75R30 flood light here.  But keep in mind that we also stock all the Sylvania bulbs used in commercial lighting.  Whatever type you have, by switching to Westinghouse Realite full spectrum, you will be getting more natural lighting. We have a large inventory of bulbs for nearly every type of light fixture in the field.  If you need help identifying a bulb, our customer service representatives can help you determine what you have.
