We all want to keep the bugs away from us in the summertime and we depend on the old reliable bug zapper unit to eliminate them.  But the most important part of the unit is the bug zapper light bulbs that attract those pests in the first place.  We'll wager that it's been difficult for you to find these lamps in the local hardware store, right?  We know, there probably hasn't been a time when people have been disappointed in what they can't find in the local store.  But good news is here today.  We have the bulbs for your bug zapper and you can order them online.  We have them in the Armatron International and the GE brand.  They are both a fluorescent which is really the only kind of bulb that will properly attract bugs of all types.  It gives off that slightly purple glow which you're used to seeing in almost every backyard in America.  These aren't used at all for illumination although there is a small amount of light or glow which the fluorescent emits.

For those of you who might know the code for the bug zapper light bulbs you have, we offer these from the two manufacturers we stock.  Keep in mind that bug zappers were made by many different companies and sometimes they aren't at all alike.  That's why the code number you get off the bulb is critical in identifying the right one.  If it is has no markings on the bulb or label, then it might be very difficult to determine exactly what it is.

We have several code numbers in the Armatron:

  • Mfgr Code: *BF-100 40-TU-16T10

  • Mfgr Code: *BF-170 20-TU-7.75T8

  • BF-130 40-TU-14.5T10

  • Mfgr Code: BF-150 40-TU-12.25T10

  • Mfgr Code: BF-65 ARMITRON

  • Mfgr Code: BF-80 18-TU-9T6

The GE bug zapper light bulbs are probably more common as it was used in many units throughout the years.

  • Mfgr Code: F40/BL/U/3

If you've decided on ServiceLighting.com, you've made an excellent choice for bug zapper light bulbs. In backyards all across the country, you will most likely find these special lamps helping zap those pests dead. Remember that there are many types of bulbs, we describe just some of the most common used pest control here.  Whatever type you choose, you will be getting the highest quality and the right light bulb for your specific application.  If you need help identifying a bulb, our customer service representatives can help you determine what you have.
