When looking to replace flat compact fluorescents in your home or building, the Dulux F from Sylvania are one of the few options available today.  The Dulux F compact fluorescent is a high lumen compact which because of its shape, can be used in many areas a flat light source is desirable. The Sylvania Dulux F has been the choice for lighting applications, small energy saving light fixtures or some recessed lighting. The color rendition on the lamp is very high making it an excellent choice for color sensitive areas. The shape of the bulb is the T5 and it has four pins in groups of two at the base of the lamp itself.  We stock the Sylvania brand in all available wattages with the product being referenced being an CF18DF/841, CF24DF/841 or CF36DF/841.  The wattages vary from 18, 24 and 36 watts.  The first number that you see in the code will designate the wattage of the lamp and the second number denotes the color, it's really that simple to identify this lamp even though it has a few variations.

When it comes to lighting up a home or business, compact fluorescent bulbs tend to be the ones chosen more often than other types of bulbs. They are chosen most often because of the great light output and good color along with energy efficiency as well. When compared to incandescent lighting, these are longer lasting, using much less energy. It makes them a perfect choice for almost any type of lighting. There are several kinds of compact types which include the regular household base, some that are plug-in types and some short linear bulbs. As with all fluorescent bulbs, they rely on ballasts inside of the fixtures or units to make them work. The ballast is important because it is specific for each type of lamp. You can't change from one type of fluorescent to another without changing the ballast in most cases. On a rare occasion, there may be a ballast that is made for several different types but the Dulux F compact fluorescent lamps have a specific ballast.  The colors we have available are 3000K which has a warm color appearance and the 4100K which is a cooler color, more like office lighting.  If you're really not sure about the color, please call us and we can help you with the correct color bulb that will match existing bulbs or your interior space.

Remember that there are many types of Dulux F compact fluorescent light bulbs, we describe some of the most common wattages here. Keep in mind that we also stock all the larger or linear types of fluorescent lamps used in commercial lighting from long fluorescent to compact lamps. Whatever type you choose, you will be getting the exact light you need at a reasonable cost. We have one of the largest inventories of bulbs for nearly every type of light fixture in the field. If you have a bulb you can't identify, call us and one of our customer service representatives can help you.
