With the great strides made in LED lighting technology, there are going to be many new types of configurations to replace less efficient lighting in the future.  One of these that has come out is an R30 LED flood light bulb which will be a great replacement that will make some bulb replacement a rare thing. One of the great things about these lamps is now the smaller size while still getting the light output you need for any number of lighting tasks. Up until recently, getting energy savings in an R30 LED flood light was difficult because the lower light output and high initial cost of the lamp itself.  Both those things have changed where the cost is much more reasonable and the LED lamps themselves have improved greatly in the past few years.  When compared to incandescent lighting or even compact fluorescent, these are longer lasting, using much less energy making them a perfect choice for almost any type of lighting. The R30 is a suitable replacement for 65BR30 lamps, which are probably the most common flood light in use today.

With the advent of higher electrical costs, many businesses are looking for ways to save energy with lighting.  Obviously, LED flood light bulbs are a great choice to replace higher wattage incandescent flood lamps and save energy.  Just look for areas where you might use incandescent light bulbs and find the right replacement on our web site.  The most typical light fixture these are used in would be the 5" or 6" recessed can light used in entry ways or general lighting. You will find a great reduction in your electrical bill while still getting the amount of light that you want.  When replacing your outdated incandescent or fluorescent with LED, you can dim these like you would any other incandescent type of lighting. So now you can get great energy savings while getting all the functionality of incandescent, something that was not possible before with compact fluorescent.  The average rated hours for these lamps is an incredible 50,000 hours which makes these a great improvement over anything in the past.  Now, all this sounds great, but there are times when this type of lamp won't be right for the application you have.  Keep in mind, that you need to choose the light that looks right for what you're using it for, not just for energy savings.

The brand we carry on these LED floods is TCP and they have been a leader in energy saving compact technology, so it's a natural jump for this trusted brand to go into LED lighting.  Remember that there are many types of energy saving bulbs, we describe some of the most latest used in home and commercial lighting here.  Keep in mind that we also stock all the larger or linear types of fluorescent lamps used in commercial lighting.  Whatever type you choose or have, you will be saving energy while getting the most light you can for your money.  We have a large inventory of LED bulbs for nearly every type of light fixture in the field.  If you need help identifying a bulb, our customer service representatives can help you determine what you have.
