Many people are looking to save energy with lighting while not sacrificing the illumination they're used to.  That's why the Sylvania Capsylite A19 halogen bulbs make sense as a logical replacement for old inefficient incandescent bulbs.  In this case, you can replace higher wattage incandescent lamps to save energy while still maintaining the light levels you're used to.  This bulb like other halogens, are filled with a special gas that actually rebuilds the filament and provides longer life than normal incandescent bulbs. They come in different shapes and sizes for various different uses. Some common halogen types are PAR, JC, Double Ended, MR16, and A-Line or A19 that we're talking about here.  Each of these has a specific application in lighting but all have the same physical attributes common to halogen light bulbs. Halogen bulbs burn about 10 percent brighter, whiter, a hotter than normal incandescent bulbs. Extra heat is typically not a benefit, but whiter, bright light is something that is useful in a large number of lighting applications.

This lamp is unique in that it has a very heavy glass which surrounds it, what the size of the glass is the same as a regular light bulb.  This is what gives it an advantage over almost any other halogen bulb out there, it can be used in almost any application or a standard and household bulb is used.  You won't notice any difference in the light levels, when you switch from one of the higher wattage incandescents to one of these lower wattage A19 halogen.  What you will notice is an improvement in the light as it has a whiter color and which brightens up any area including a home, retail space or office area.  And it's one of the most versatile new halogen lamps on the market today.  Although it was created some time ago by Sylvania, they still have less exposure than other types of halogens that people are used to such as track lighting with PAR lamps.  The heavy glass that encloses the halogen capsule protects it from a violent rupture which can sometimes happen with a halogen bulb.  And that's what makes this such a good lamp for your home, he don't have to worry about any problems with it, it's made for safety.

In summary, Sylvania Capsylite A19 halogen light bulbs are available in a variety of wattages, and can be used, among many other things, to replace standard incandescent light bulbs. Yes, even the venerable 60 watt 120 volt A-Line standard light bulb used by millions upon millions of people everyday in numerous places can be replaced by halogen bulbs. They will emit a whiter, brighter light that is considered by a vast majority of people more desirable than regular light bulbs.  By clicking the link above, you'll be taken to a page that has our full offering of this lamp type.  If you're having trouble identifying your bulb, please call us and one of our friendly customer service people will help you!
