Sylvania halogen bulbs certainly come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, wattages, and styles. One of the most popular bulbs we sell in this category is the 100Q/CL bulb, also known as a 100 watt 120 volt T4 double contact bayonet base light bulb. It's a small 3 1/2 inch light bulb often used in several different applications, including torchiere lamps and recessed fixtures, among others. The popularity of this type of lighting is due, in part, to the reliability and longevity of Sylvania halogen bulbs. You see, halogen bulbs are made with a special blend of gases inside, including the halogen gas. The benefits of this over incandescent lighting is that the halogen gas actually repairs the filament of the light bulb, giving the bulb longer life than bulbs without halogen gas. In making your household or business dollar go further, halogen bulbs will take you to performance well beyond standard lighting.

Longevity is not he only benefit of Sylvania halogen lighting. These handy bulbs also burn whiter than regular ones do, giving you a more desirable option for your room lighting. Many people today prefer a whiter light over the warmer, more orange shaded bulbs of the past. This is especially true in retail showrooms, as stores that are more appealing and stores where the merchandise is well lit by bright, white light average more sales than stores with only normal incandescent lighting. The next time you go to Caribou Coffee or your local grocery store, take a look at the type of lighting used. In the coffee shop, you'll notice halogen bulbs almost exclusively. The grocery store has a mix of fluorescent lighting, metal halide lighting, and halogen bulbs. The overall lighting is pure white HID or fluorescent tubes, while the lighting in the produce section is very much alive with halogen lighting. It's amazing, but true that lighting has a lot to do with the average consumer's buying decisions.

You can find the 100Q/CL, and the 75Q/CL and 150Q/CL versions listed and shown here. Simple click the link at the top of this page to view your options and start shopping. Try to match the printing from your Philips halogen bulbs or GE halogen bulbs with our listings from Westinghouse or Sylvania. In the case of halogen bulbs, you won't find better options that give you quality light bulbs with attractive pricing and great service than with ServiceLighting.com, Westinghouse Lighting, and Sylvania light bulbs. There are so many options you can browse, including halogen bulbs with bi-pin base, DC base, SC base, candelabra base, and minicandelabra base. You'll find clear and frosted light bulbs in a wide variety of wattages. We would be glad to help you if you have any trouble finding any type of light bulb that you need.
