With the improvement of energy efficient lighting technology, fluorescent lighting is one of the best ways to get high illumination with relatively low energy usage.  A big part of the system are the electronic ballasts which are much more energy efficient than the old magnetic ballast technology.  Universal electronic ballasts have solid state circuitry which makes them very reliable and energy efficient throughout the life of the system.  You can count on Universal Lighting Technologies for the widest variety of ballasts for every type of lighting application and size requirements.  We're a committed distributor of this product line and we can't think of a better way to get your commercial building more energy efficient.

As with all fluorescent bulbs, they rely on ballasts inside of the fixtures in order to make them work. Universal electronic ballasts for our T8 lamps are one of the most popular brands in the industry with a history of reliable service.  All fixtures for T8 or T12 light bulbs come with ballasts already mounted and wired. The ballast is important because it is specific for each type of lamp.  You can't change from one type of fluorescent to another without changing the ballast in most cases.  The good news is that many of the T8 lamps are interchangeable making them a great choice for reducing the number of ballast types in a building or new construction project.  Most of the time, you can operate an FO32T8, FO25T8 or FO17T8 off the same ballast, sometimes even Dulux L lamps.  If you're a building manager or an industrial facility, think about how this can simplify your life. One of the best features of the Universal electronic ballasts is that we provide them in a dual voltage.  That means that you buy one ballast for both 120 or 277 volt and the ballast has special technology which recognizes the voltage and operates accordingly.  Now there won't be a time when you wonder if you got the right voltage, you have it in one ballast!  We also have 347 volt ballasts for our Canadian friends who sometimes have a hard time finding these from US companies.  In either case, we make it easier for you by providing the correct one, without having to keep multiple voltages on the shelf.

The range of the product line includes standard T8 electronic ballasts, high efficiency UltTim8 which is used in conjunction with the more efficient Sylvania XP T8 lamps.  They also make ballasts for T5 and T5/HO lamps which are becoming the pervasive standard for indirect lighting from almost every manufacturer.  These are lamps that are more efficient than T8 and have a lower profile so light can be put into smaller, more diminutive fixtures than were ever possible before.  No matter what product you choose from Universal ballasts, you will find an exceptional performance, good warranties, a size for any application and at a reasonable price from ServiceLighting.com.

Remember that there are many types of Universal electronic ballasts, we describe some of the most common used in commercial lighting today.  Whatever type you have, you will be saving energy while getting the most light you can for your money.  We have a large inventory of ballasts for nearly every type of light fixture in the field.  There's really no ballast that we can't replace with these energy efficient types along with offering a steady supply for your commercial business or home needs.  If you need help identifying a ballast, our customer service representatives can help you determine what you have.
